UBICOMP is back from Summer holidays.
UBICOMP’s “Back to School” Summer Event took place yesterday, August 14th 2024, at Koitelin Residenssi.
The event consisted of various group and individual activities, including a guided walking tour through the history of Koiteli, and the Koiteli theme trail targetting collaborative and creative group tasks, while exploring Koiteli’s nature routes. In addition, the UBICOMP staff had the opportunity to explore swimming in the Koteli rapids, and fishing, under the guidance of professional instructors.
The nature activities were followed by dinner, UBICOMP’s own “Summer Olympics” and the evening ended with a relaxing sauna.
UBICOMP’s social events are designed to promote the well-being of its staff members, by creating an inviting, friendly, inclusive and open atmosphere, in line with the strategy of the ITEE Faculty: ICT powered- human centered.
