AIKAA is a €819,956 project aimed at improving workplace well-being and productivity in micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises by utilizing generative artificial intelligence. The project is funded by the European Structural and Investment Funds – European Social Fund (ESF) and is implemented from 1 November 2025 to 29 February 2028.
The project aims to reduce the sense of urgency and workload burden in the workplace, while developing and disseminating innovative and scalable solutions that support well-being and efficiency. In addition, the project creates networks between companies and experts to make the opportunities offered by generative AI widely accessible.
CAC (the Centre for Applied Computing, previously UBICOMP) is a partner in AIKAA, supporting the development of scalable automation solutions and models that utilize generative artificial intelligence to automate repetitive tasks, reduce operational workload, and improve productivity across organizational processes.
The project implements a number of measures, including the current state of load and well-being at work of local management and personnel, as well as the maturity level of the organization’s generative AI.
Generative AI solutions are piloted and their effects on well-being and productivity at work are assessed. In addition, the project describes commonly used, scalable models for managing haste and supporting well-being.
Finally, the project results and best practices are disseminated nationally to support the development of working life in a wide range of industries. The project produces concrete benefits, such as improved well-being at work and competitiveness, and its results can also be utilised by other industries and educational institutions in teaching and research.
