UBISS 2018 invites researchers, students, and industry and public sector professionals to gain theoretical insight and personal hands on experience on selected topics under the tutelage of distinguished experts. UBISS 2018 builds on the legacy of the previous eight successful UBI Summer Schools hosted by us in Oulu in 2010-2017.

APPLICATION & ENROLLMENT

All prospective participants have to submit an online application where they provide a ranked list of preferred workshop(s). The application is forwarded to the instructors of preferred workshop(s) who select students to their respective workshops. An applicant accepted to a particular workshop has to secure her/his seat via online registration.

Participants are enrolled to the workshops in two stages:

CLOSED: Stage 1 – Open international call

March 12, 2018: Application deadline
March 20, 2018: Notification of acceptance
April 10, 2018: Registration deadline

OPEN: Stage 2 – Any remaining seats are handed out on first come first served basis to applications received by May 24, 2018.

Please note that economic housing through our block reservation must be booked via registration by April 30, 2018.
